Dave is a 1977 BC graduate. During his career as an athlete, Dave participated in football, basketball, and track. In 1975-76, he was all MSL in basketball and in track, specifically in the shotput. In 76-77, he was all MSL in the shotput and the 800 relay. During his basketball career, he was a 3 year letter winner and scored 708 points. Dave went on to Capital University and participated in both football and track. He was a 4 year letter winner in football, and was voted Freshmen of the Year in the fall of 1977. Dave returned to Bloom-Carroll and coached multiple sports, including football, track, and wrestling. In 1991 he was honored as MSL coach of the year in as head girls’ track coach. Dave continues to be an avid supporter of Bloom-Carroll athletics to this day. Dave currently resides in the BC School District and is involved in the community as a leader and businessman.
