Being married to a High School Athletic Director and having four kids active in sports, she works as a substitute teacher at a high-risk elementary serving underprivileged children. It is her privilege to be a safe and familiar face to kids who need additional support due to their life circumstances.
Sports has been a driving force her entire life and she is grateful for the experiences and opportunities. She is thankful to her parents for making all of her sports commitments possible, and the sacrifices they made. She’s thankful for her coaches who believed in her and to her grandpa who gave every official and referee heck - thanks for being my biggest fan. She’s honored to accept this award and thoroughly happy to be joining her dad in the Bloom-Carroll Athletic Hall of Fame.
